We’ve had an excellent beginning at Cooran Prep in 2008. We have an equal balance of girls and boys and everyone is settled and having fun.
Our teacher is Mr John Byrne and our teacher aide is Mrs Debbie Murray. All of us had a big discussion and we decided that we would like to learn more about Water – Under Water and Over Water. Turtles, dolphins, crabs and seahorses were mentioned. Then oceans, dams, rivers and boats, washing, showers and saving water, trees and plants, floating and sinking, tadpoles and life cycles.
Also, we are learning rules, like walk and use quiet voices inside, how to talk to someone who hurts our feelings, good manners, making new friends, talking about “good foods”, doing lots of playing and having heaps of fun.
Finally, we have music, P.E., drama and library (on Thursdays) and our lunch times with the big children.
P.S. We love our tyre swing and visits from Cassie Koala.
